Resource planning
We’re continually working to secure safe, reliable and cost-effective energy resources to meet our customers’ growing energy needs. In 2026, we’ll be submitting our long-term gas and electricity resource plans to the British Columbia Utilities Commission for review.
These plans are being developed in consultation with Indigenous communities and interested parties, and they’ll include our vision to 2050, outlining how we’ll secure resources to help meet our customers’ energy needs while supporting affordability and helping to reduce energy consumption and overall greenhouse gas emissions.
Gas resource planning
We have more than one million gas customers across B.C., and to keep up with the demand for safe, affordable gas, we’re always looking ahead.
Electricity resource planning
We conduct regular maintenance projects for our existing system, and look for opportunities to invest in system upgrades to support customer growth and future energy demand.
