We host Community Giving Days in local communities throughout our service area. These days support initiatives that help contribute to the well-being of British Columbians.
What we do
We’re always seeking opportunities to support groups and activities that benefit B.C. communities. That’s why we support community groups and local non-profit organizations with Community Giving Days.
Several times a year, employee volunteers offer hands-on support for groups in their communities. We also donate to organizations through our Community Investment Program. In the past, we’ve helped clean up parks and trails, build community gardens, remove invasive species, paint buildings and more. Community Giving Days are organized by FortisBC employees who offer their time to support these causes.

Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue Association (CVGSAR) is a volunteer group that provides search and rescue expertise to the Comox Valley, Northern Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. We organized a Community Giving Day with CVGSAR and funded the purchase of rescue packs for their team of operators. |
